Stop eating this food that damages health

Let’s see why you should listen to our advice: stop eating this food that damages health! Well, when we were little they always taught us that this food was important for growth. A bit like calcium for the bones, when we were told to drink warm milk. But it is absolutely important that you stop eating this health-damaging food.

Scientific studies have shown that our parents were wrong. It turned out, in fact, that red meat is not that food rich in iron and proteins they were talking about, while no one took into account cholesterol. While protein can be taken with other foods, the cholesterol contained in red meats leads to serious health complications.

Simple and processed red meats

Simple red meats are those obtained from slaughter animals. Among these, the main ones are veal, beef, horse meat and pork and sheep.

They are not to be confused with the so-called white meats, which are obtained from animals such as chicken and rabbit.

With processed meats, on the other hand, we mean all meats produced with spices and drying processes. In short, we are talking about sausages, whether they are cured meats or hams. The latter foods, in particular, have been recognized as carcinogens by theWorld Health Organization. In fact, our body is not used to ingesting them or assimilating them.

This fact is linked to the history of man. Red meat, in fact, has been, for centuries, closed to many layers of the population.

Its consumption was, in fact, limited to the aristocratic class, while the remaining citizens had to be content with poorer meats, such as chicken and rabbit.

For this reason, problems related to the heart, or specific diseases, such as the cheek, were practically unknown to the common person.

The spread of fast food and the lowering of the costs of red meat have profoundly changed this orientation.

Stop consuming this food

Many international studies have shown that red meat can even be carcinogenic and that sausages, on the other hand, are certainly carcinogenic.

The continued and exaggerated intake of red meat can, therefore, lead to serious health problems among which the main ones are the following:

a) increased chance of developing colorectal and stomach cancers;

b) increased possibility of developing prostate and breast cancers;

c) increased chance of developing diabetes;

d) increased chance of developing cardiovascular problems;

e) greater chances of developing obesity problems.

Consumption of red meats should be replaced as much as possible with vegetables and white meats, rich in proteins but low in carcinogenic factors.

On the contrary, sausages should be totally eliminated. Red meat consumption per person should be limited to a maximum of 110-115 grams, no more than twice a week, according to research from the Harvard School of Medicine.

So, if you’re a fan of red meat, allow yourself a slice once a week but no more.
