The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 91 people recovering from the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving the necessary medical care and recovery according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 9,8011 cases to date.
In its daily statement, the Ministry stated that 118 new cases have been registered that have proven positive in laboratory analyzes of the virus, as part of the necessary surveillance, investigation and examination procedures that the ministry conducts according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 11 new cases.
She said that, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days after infection is an indicator of the patient’s recovery from the Corona virus.
She stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus until today, Thursday, is 105033 cases, including 98011 cases that have been cured, and 6088 deaths.
