Alexandra Trusova became the first Russian figure skater in history to jump a quadruple rittberger. It happened today at a training session at the Angela Plushenko Academy in Moscow. The athlete posted the video of the jump on her Instagram.
Previously, Trusova jumped quadruple toe loop, lutz, flip, salchow, as well as triple axel.
Recall that Trusova is the bronze medalist of the 2020 European Championship, the bronze medalist of the 2019 Grand Prix finals, the silver medalist of 2019 and the bronze medalist of the 2020 Russian Championship. The second ever two-time world champion among juniors in 2018 and 2019.
This spring, the skater changed her coach. Instead Eteri Tutberidze she transferred to the academy of the two-time Olympic champion Evgenia Plushenko.
