Timothy Kimman, better known as rapper Jebroer, was one of the partygoers on the terrace on the Plein in The Hague on Wednesday evening. There was an exuberant party on the terrace just before the time when the catering industry had to close. But according to Jebroer, who also participated in #Ikdoenietmeermee, that was all OK and it is “enormously bloated and a snapshot”, AD reports Thursday.
“He wanted to support the owner in these tough times”

Kimman can be seen in various images circulating from the tent party. The rapper distances himself from the fuss that has arisen around the party, his spokesperson told RTL Boulevard. “Tim is a well-known guest of Luden and wanted to support the owner in these tough times.”

According to his spokesman, a big party broke out in front of him. “He has nothing to do with that. Tim was standing there at the time and apparently someone filmed him.” The rapper believes that owner John Prins of the catering business, did everything to end the party.

There has been a lot of criticism of Wednesday night’s closing party. “In this day and age, that is not the image and signal you are allowed to give. It is unacceptable”, responded director Dirk Beljaarts of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland. According to him, the images detract from the “carefully built up status that thousands of catering entrepreneurs and their staff have built up in recent months”.
