Record company Warner Music Baltics starts cooperation with Baltic musicians / Diena

Warner Music is one of the largest record companies in the world, which is now strengthening its position in the Baltics. For several years now, there have been other leading record companies operating in Tallinn – Universal Music a Sony Music – regional offices. Now join them Warner Music Baltics, which is determined to start active cooperation with local artists in order to promote the development of the Baltic music market and its integration into the global circulation.

A single by the popular, internationally acclaimed Estonian electronic music representative Noëp will be released on October 23 On My Way (feat. Chinchilla). An agreement has already been signed with the Lithuanian group The Roop, which was to represent its national Eurovision Song Contest this year. Warner Music Baltics is also interested in cooperating with the most promising Latvian artists to help their works cross the borders of the region. The company’s representative in Latvia is Inese Saulāja-Dobele.

“In recent years, we have been closely following the development and growth of the music industry in the Baltic States, as well as seeing the potential of the region’s artists internationally. We have noticed many talented performers, producers and authors,” he said. Warner Music Baltics executive directors Miko Manninen.

Operations in the Baltics are also expanding Warner Music group publishing house HMC Publishing (it represents the interests of the authors and their works). It has signed a cooperation agreement with an Estonian publisher and an independent music company Star Management/Downtown Studios. As part of the deal, the parties commit to collaborating with local artists both locally and internationally.
