The Covid alert continues in Germany, where 6,638 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. This data marks a new record of infections since the beginning of the pandemic. The previous record of cases in 24 hours was on March 28 when 6,294 were recorded.

Brazil

In Brazil there have been 749 deaths in the last 24 hours and 27,235 new cases of contagion from coronavirus, as reported by the Minister of Health, quoted by Reuters. In total there have been 151,747 deaths and 5,140,863 total cases in the country so far.

Japan

The spread of Covid-19 continues to raise more and more anxieties and fears within the same family unit. In this regard, the metropolitan government of Tokyo intends to finance a program to limit the possibility of contagion of the older members who, despite having tested negative for the virus, continue to live in close contact with an infected person. The program provides for the reception of elderly non-carriers, who often live isolated in their homes, providing adequate facilities and regular assistance. According to the plan, the municipalities will coordinate the transport of citizens and the necessary care through the support of qualified personnel. The metropolitan government has allocated a figure equal to 10 million yen, the equivalent of 80,000 euros, explaining that the details will be communicated in the coming days. On Wednesday, Tokyo reported 177 infections while at the national level the positivity reached 552. To date, in Japan, the numbers of the pandemic remain well below the average values ​​of Western countries, with a total of 90,818 infections and 1,659 overall deaths.

India

There are 7.31 million cases of coronavirus in India, with an increase of 67,708 infections in the last 24 hours, deaths not passed from 680 to 111,266. India passed the 7 million case mark on Sunday, adding one million cases in just 13 days. It has the second highest number of cases in the world after the United States, where the figure approaches 8 million.
