Member of Commission III DPR RI, Habiburokhman, came to Polda Metro Jaya tonight. Politician Gerindra Party This came to meet 11 cadres of Indonesian Islamic Students (PII) who were secured by the police in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta.
Habiburokhman claimed to have met Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Nana Sudjana. He asked the 11 PII cadres to be released tonight.
“We are in the context of following up on notifications from PII friends, Indonesian Islamic Students, regarding the arrest of PII activists yesterday. I have met with the Chief of Police, the point is he will welcome what we say and the colleagues will be released tonight, God willing, “Habiburokhman said when met by reporters at the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Wednesday (14/10/2020).
Habiburokhman also said that the 11 cadres were victims of wrongful arrests. He made sure that the 11 people were not involved in the rioting at the rejection demonstration all the law Work Creation Act.
“Yes, God willing (11 PII cadres) are not involved,” added Habiburokhman.
Habiburokhman also said that he understood that the authorities had made an arrest. He called this a consequence when securing mass action.
