France announced, this evening, Wednesday, the imposition of a medical emergency due to the increase in the outbreak of the new Corona virus (Covid-19), according to “Sky News” Arabia.

It is noteworthy that France remains among the countries most affected by the Corona virus, with a marked increase in the rates of infected people. Paris has recorded a record number of injuries.

The number of confirmed cases of the new Corona virus in France rose to 798,257 cases, as of 7:30 am today, Wednesday, Paris time, according to data from Johns Hopkins University of America and Bloomberg News.

A committee of experts formed to assess France’s response to the epidemic said in a report that it had found “clear failures in anticipation, preparedness and management.” Experts pointed to a shortage of masks in the first weeks of the outbreak. The report also indicated a lack of coordination between the various health authorities and agencies. But he praised the “exceptional resilience and mobilization” of health workers, which allowed the hospital system to “withstand the shock” with the rise in cases last spring.
