Throughout my life, I used to not disagree with a colleague over a work because friendship and ten is the most important.”
He added: “Mr. Mahmoud apologized respectfully for completing the filming of the series because of the difference in viewpoints, and this is normal and usually happens. Finally, the giant Mahmoud Yassin loved him and appreciated him at the technical and personal level, and there are no differences between us, and I wish him success in all his life.”

Rumors did not stop, but rather pursued the two sides, until Yassin decided to officially announce the reason for his withdrawal from the “Excellency”, through a press release, in November 2014, and said that he closed the door to rumors that reached the point of accusing him of not abiding by the filming dates, and that he was attending the studio. He added, “The reason for my withdrawal from the series was just a difference in views between me and the production and directing sides.”
At the time, the artist Amr Mahmoud Yassin intervened and said in press statements that his father had been exposed to a state of severe exhaustion recently as a result of the huge amount of contacts, especially from the media, to ensure the validity of the news of his withdrawal from His Excellency, which is expected, especially since the work includes great artists of the size of Adel Imam And Mahmoud Yassin, and about the direct reason for his father’s withdrawal from work.
He explained: “There were many differences of opinion between my parents and the direction of production and directing, and the three parties did not reach a method that satisfies everyone, so the solution for which there is no alternative is to withdraw in order to preserve the name and history of the artist Mahmoud Yassin, and about the validity of the escalation of the dispute to the Syndicate of Representational Professions, he said: The statement It did not include anything, especially the escalation of the crisis for the Syndicate, as the dispute ended in a very friendly manner, and both parties enjoy the respect and appreciation of the other ».
«Almighty accent»
Three years later, the controversy renewed again, when Rania Mahmoud Yassin, the daughter of the late artist, spoke about the details of the dispute that arose between her father and Adel Imam, and added, during her broadcast on the “Cairo and the People” satellite channel, in June 2017, that the dispute and its opinions were a tone Come on, it was issued by Adel Imam towards her father: “Mahmoud Yassin is a capable artist with his history, and he cannot be a tiger of two.”
She added that her father’s withdrawal from work was in the interest of her father, and that they were pushing him to accept the work, stressing that the most likely reason for her father’s refusal of the role is not only because of the artist Adel Imam, but because he is not convinced of the role presented to him.

June 2018, the famous artist returned to talk about the alleged dispute, and said: “I was troubled by one thing that Adel Imam turned off the speaker and said (what, oh, Mahmoud, uh), and not me, but what I said is that there are newspaper columns I wrote about this.”
She added, during her interview on the “Sheikh Al-Hara” program, broadcast on the “Cairo and Al-Nas” satellite channel: “The two parties have every respect, but I expect that Adel Imam will not send the speaker to Mahmoud Yassin even when he is tired, because we expect him like that, art is not like that.”
