Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD stated that the government had never accused Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) and Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as a mastermind demonstration reject all Law The Job Creation Law which ended in chaos.
This statement was conveyed by Mahfud through his Twitter account @mohmahfudmd. He responded to the DPP Democrat board member Andi Arief, who asked the government for clarification.
“What kind of clarification is being asked by Mas @AndiArief__? Neither of us ever said Pak SBY or AHY was the mastermind or paid for the unras,” quoted Mahfud’s tweet CNN Indonesia.with, Wednesday (14/10).
On the other hand, Mahfud asked Andi to explain when the government had accused SBY, AHY and the Democratic party of being behind the riots. He asked Andi to explain because the government has never spoken like that.
“Instead, please clarify when we said that. If there is, we will finish it. It’s only in social and social media that is not clear, “he said.
Answering Mahfud’s statement, Andi Arief only thanked him.

If no government provides clarification, said Andi, then there is no guarantee that political tensions in Indonesia will subside.
“If there is no clarification from Pak @mohmahfudmd, Pak Airlangga, Pak Luhut and BIN on accusations that Pak SBY, AHY and Democrats are slandered behind this big demonstration, then there is no guarantee that political tensions will subside, “ he said through his official twitter account.
The government did mention that there was a mastermind behind the protest against the Omnibus Law. In fact, most recently the Minister of Defense and General Chair of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto also spoke out.
However, Prabowo did not mention SBY or AHY as the mastermind behind the demonstration. Prabowo actually accused foreign parties of being behind the akai.
However, there are not a few anonymous accounts on social media that say SBY, AHY and the Democratic Party are behind the chaos.
