Students Who Participate In Demo Reject Law To Create Recorded Jobs In SKCK

TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com – Students who intend to take action in the Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency areas are confirmed that their identity will be recorded in a Police Record Certificate ( SKCK) from the police.

This was confirmed by the Tangerang Police Chief, Kombes Pol Ade Ary Syam Indradi.

“We recorded it in the police records. Because later if it is recorded it will carry over. If we apply for a job, continue school, we will submit a special note,” he said, Tuesday (10/13/2020).

Ade said that the notes were poured out when the recorded students followed the rejections all the law will apply for SKCK.

It’s hard to find work

The same thing was also said by Kapolres Metro Tangerang Kota Kombes Pol Sugeng Hariyanto.

Sugeng said, many of the hundreds of students who were detained did not understand their intentions and objectives for the demonstration.

He explained, the motivation of the students is just to enliven the action of rejecting the Copyright Act in Jakarta.

“Most of their motivation is to enliven and participate in the action in Jakarta. But regarding their motives and goals, they do not know clearly,” he said.

After being secured, hundreds of students underwent a rapid test and were sent back to their parents.

The police are also trying to track down who is the mastermind behind the student mobilization to follow the action against the Job Creation Law to Jakarta.

Sugeng explained that the police were investigating several students and the cellphones they used to spread calls for action.

“We are investigating through cellphone communication tools, whether there are calls for communication via Whatsapp or social media,” he said.

According to the statements of students who had been examined, they received a call for action from a Whatsapp message so they were interested in participating in the action against the Job Creation Law.
