The mystery film debuted on Netflix last month Enola Holmes on Netflix and in it we saw an actress Millie Bobby Brown as the title character and Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes. Now Netflix appears to be working on another Sherlock movie.
According to What’s On Netflix, the project has recently started Sherlock Junior in development. The script will be written by Ehren Kruger and Matt Kuzma and the former will also act as producer.
Synopsis Sherlock Junior
The synopsis is already known: Sherlock Junior follows a modern young John Watson and the British expat and Watson’s new RD colleague, Sherlock Holmes. They team up to solve the mystery behind a strange disappearance and a witch curse on their town. They would also have to deal with the necessary crooks in the city.
Incidentally, the Sherlock Holmes spin-off TV series The Irregulars already scheduled for 2021. This one puts a twist on the classic Holmes story by focusing on a group of kids who also act like sleuths. Henry Lloyd-Hughes plays “Holmes Senior” in that series.
