‘Position switch’ in the second semifinal of ‘Snackmasters’ next Tuesday. Because Sofie Dumont (46) felt ill just before the admissions and had to undergo a preventive corona test, Piet Huysentruyt (57) took her place. –

The culinary battle in ‘Snackmasters’ is gradually approaching its denouement. Anne-Sophie Breysem was the first to secure a place in the grand final on Tuesday evening. It remains to be seen in the second semifinal on Tuesday 20 October which other chef she will compete against.

There is a striking change, because Piet Huysentruyt will replace Sofie Dumont and compete for the last place. Dumont felt ill just before the shootings and therefore had to undergo a corona test. The result turned out to be negative. “It was really bad… but I understood that the makers did not want to take any risks in these bizarre corona times”, Sofie says. “I have every confidence that Piet will defend my honor with flying colors.”

The second semifinal of Snackmasters can be seen on Tuesday 20 October at 8.40 pm at VTM en VTM GO.
