Yandex can add support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to Maps and Navigator, but only Plus subscribers will have access to this function, told blogger Wylsacom. The company confirmed to vc.ru that they are preparing the integration of applications with CarPlay and Android Auto.

CarPlay and Android Auto allow you to connect iOS and Android smartphones to the car’s multimedia system, respectively, and use applications compatible with these technologies. Now “Navigator” and “Maps” are not compatible with them and officially they cannot be displayed on the screen in the car.

Yandex has a similar system – Yandex.Auto. With its help, it is possible, among other things, to launch “Navigator”, “Music”, voice assistant “Alice” in the car. The company will continue to develop “Auto” – now it is working on integration with Lada, specified in “Yandex”.
