Jakarta: A number of reports circulating say that the iPhone 12 line will be equipped with a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, while other reports say that the refresh rate will not be found on the iPhone 12 line.
Quoting GSM ArenaThe conclusion regarding this report is that the iPhone 12 line will not be supported by a 120Hz refresh rate screen. This decision was made by Apple on the grounds of high power consumption, and not because of supply problems.
According to Jon Prosser, Apple faces a dilemma between providing its latest smartphone line with the support of a 5G network that consumes more funds when compared to 4G, or providing it with a 120Hz refresh rate screen, which also consumes more power compared to 60Hz refresh rate.

However, adding both of them in one device will result in shorter battery life. The Apple team decided to choose 5G on the basis of the assessment that network support would be easier to market.
Advertising faster internet connectivity will be more acceptable to consumers than trying to sell the benefits of a 120Hz refresh rate screen. With the increased power efficiency of 5G modems and OLED services, both are expected to support the upcoming iPhone line in 2021, and not in 2020.
Previously, Apple sent out invitations for the next event which will be held online on October 13, at 10:00 PDT. This event will be held in Apple Park and broadcast online, like the two previous shows.
This invitation includes a blurred image with the Apple icon and the Hi Speed tagline. Many people try to find the deep meaning behind the image, but never lead in a particular direction.
