Not fit, De Bruyne left the Belgian national team and returned to City

Manchester City got unpleasant news ahead of Arsenal. Kevin de Bruyne experiencing fitness problems after strengthening the Belgian national team.

De Bruyne started as a starter the Belgian national team against England in the UEFA Nations League match at Wembley Stadium, Sunday (11/10/2020) evening WIB. However, the 29-year-old midfielder was unable to complete the match.

Meanwhile, the Belgian national team coach Roberto Martinez reduces the possibility of injury to De Bruyne after the match against England. He stated that De Bruyne was pulled out as a precaution.

“I would not say it was an injury,” said Martinez as reported Guardian.

“It’s too early to say, there’s a feeling that he’s not okay. It’s more of a precaution that we have to avoid (something), he’s not 100%.”
