Just like rapper Dio and singer Jeangu Macrooy, Famke participates in De Weddenschap, a campaign by the Reading Foundation to get young people to read.
“I participate in De Betdenschap because I have never done anything like this before,” says Famke. “Whether I enjoy reading depends on the book. I like books that teach you something or that are about interesting people.”

Signature under reading contract
At the end of October, the celebrities will start and sign the ‘reading contract’ in Leiden (Jeangu), Delfzijl (Famke) and Vught (Dio). In the coming months they will also coach participants in the action, who will in turn read three books.
