A slightly surreal and untimely mood brings a show in which Solomon’s Hymn is sung among exotic plants in the Palm House. The task of the actors this time is not to speak poetry as naturally as possible, but on the contrary – to recite as poetically as possible, even with pathos – this was the intention of director Nadine Bokovikova. Asmika Bagoyana’s songs in Armenian, as well as the sound of flute and violin add a special atmosphere to everything.
Actress Maija Arvena acknowledges the real pleasure of speaking the lyrics of the High Song in the masterful refreshment of Knut Skujenieks.
