Books – Muhammad Mustafa:
Tunisian Ferjani Sassi, a midfielder for Zamalek club, commented on news of his infection with the Corona virus.
Sassi wrote on his personal page on Twitter: “In respect of the medical protocol in force in my country, I decided on my own to put myself in voluntary quarantine for 5 days after I was in direct contact with COVID +, everything that goes on about my health condition is just a rumor.”
Sassi traveled to join the ranks of the Tunisian national team, to play the friendly match against Sudan in Rades, before traveling to Austria to face Nigeria, a trip that the Carthage Eagles star left behind.
Mortada Mansour, Chairman of the Zamalek Club, announced that Ferjani Sassi had been infected with the Corona virus, describing his infection as “bad luck.”
Zamalek is preparing to face Moroccan hope back on October 18th, before going into the second leg in Cairo on the 24th of the same month.
It is worth noting that the Football Association decided to suspend Ferjani Sassi for 6 matches, after infringing on the referee of his team’s match against Al-Masry.
