HAARLEM – The GGD Kennemerland accidentally gave 35 people a wrong result of the corona test last night. Due to an administrative error in the laboratory, people wrongly heard that they did not have corona and vice versa.

According to a spokesperson, the results of one series of tests were accidentally added to another series of tests.
On Sunday morning, the GGD was informed about the error and immediate action was taken to rectify it. The misinformed people still got the right result.
Risk
GGD Kennemerland regrets the error, “but hopes and trusts that residents will continue to follow the general advice to keep a distance of one and a half meters. This limits the risk that other people have become infected”, according to the GGD.
Storing
At the beginning of this week, a laboratory where the tests are carried out already had a malfunction. This forced a thousand people in Kennemerland wait longer on their corona test result.
