LEIDEN – Hospitals in the West region, including the Leiden University Medical Center, will immediately provide less regular planned care to make room for corona patients. From Sunday, regular care will be a total of 40 percent less than normal, the Netwerk Acute Zorg West reports Sunday. This concerns planned care that can be (temporarily) postponed, such as knee or eye surgery.
