The company circulates a “hybrid workplace” guide internally that suggests more flexibility, before posting it on its blog Friday (9/10/2020).
The manager will be able to approve permanent remote work and the employee who takes that option will give up assigned office space. They can work in certain areas if and when they come to the office.
In addition, the page reported Cnet, Saturday (10/10/2020), employees will be seen to be able to work from home freely, if they spend 50 percent of their working hours in the office.
Workers whose jobs are associated with hardware laboratories, data centers, and hands-on training need to maintain access to company offices.
“Our goal is to develop the way we work over time with intentions guided by employee input, data and our commitment to supporting individual work styles and business needs while living our culture,” a Microsoft spokesperson told Cnet.
