NEW YORK, KOMPAS.com – A technology giant from the United States Microsoft allow employees to work from home on a permanent basis. However, this decision can be given by the company according to the permission of the employee manager concerned.

This decision was taken because the corona virus pandemic (Covid-19) has changed the work patterns of companies that are increasingly far from working in offices.

Many companies are starting to recalculate the number of offices they need, taking into account the increasing number of employees working remotely.
However, Microsoft states that some employee roles will still be needed in the office, such as those in charge of the hardware or hardware of the computer.
However, many employees are also allowed to work from home on a part-time basis, without requiring formal permission from their superiors.
“Our goal is to continue to improve the way we work over time,” a Microsoft spokesperson explained in the new guidelines sent to their staff.

Previously, many Microsoft employees stated that changing their work patterns from the office to the home made them more productive. However, after several months passed, many of them began to feel tired.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also said at a conference that working from home causes no significant difference between work and personal life.
“And it sometimes makes you feel like you are asleep at work,” he says.
