First hotfix Baldur’s Gate 3 is already here

The day before yesterday, Tuesday October 6, was finally the day on which we could welcome the long-awaited Baldur’s Gate 3 to Stadia. In Early Access form, but that is no problem for many.

With a game in Early Access you get to play a game in its earliest form. This means that not all content is present and it often also means that there can be various bugs in the game. This is also stated in the disclaimer when purchasing the game on Stadia. Now, 2 days after the release, a hotfix has already been released to fix the biggest bugs. Thanks to Stadiasource we have been informed by this.

Hotfix version 4.1.83.3931

The hotfix mainly resolves crashes of the game at certain points, minor multiplayer issues and actions that you could or could not do in the game. See the list below:

  1. Fixed a crash related to using rush-type actions
  2. Fixed a crash related to the target camera
  3. Fixed a crash in character creation
  4. Fixed a crash during dialogs
  5. Fixed overlapping items inside the inventory views
  6. Fixed “Pickup” and “Pickup And Add To Wares” inside containers
  7. Fixed a player assignment issue when someone would leave from a full multiplayer party. The leftover character can now be assigned correctly.
  8. Fixed an issue with summons showing up as regular companions
  9. Fixed an issue where players could not ready up when other players joined the lobby
  10. Fixed being able to move immovable objects

It is important to mention that there are still multiplayer issues. Baldur’s Gate 3 supports cross play with PC, but this is not going smoothly yet. For example, it is not always possible to join a game. We are working hard on this and it will hopefully be resolved soon.
