The increase in the number of newly infected people in Germany is again lower in absolute numbers than in the Czech Republic with approximately eight times smaller population. Even so, this is the largest increase since April 9. In Germany, 310,144 people have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, of whom 9578 died. 5:55 – The number of hospitalized people with covid-19 in the Czech Republic is rising sharply, as is the number of deaths.
