Fatal accident on highway 3008 – Gem. Schöneck
A 47-year-old male pedestrian was fatally injured in an accident on Landstrasse 3008 near the Schöneck district of Oberdorfelden on Tuesday evening. He ran on the right side of the road in the direction of Kilianstädten. A 37-year-old VW Passat driver from Schöneck drove her car on the L 3008 in the same direction. At the scene of the accident, the car and the pedestrian collided, who initially hit the car as a result of the impact, then was thrown into the side ditch and died there. The road was then closed until 11:40 p.m. due to rescue work and the commissioning of an accident expert to clarify the cause of the accident. Witnesses who have not yet reported to the police are asked to report to the police station in Maintal on 06181-43020.
