Mouth masks inside mandatory
An example of a desirable tightening is the mandatory wearing of mouth masks in public interior spaces. The cabinet does not want to go further than an “urgent advice” to do so, but most Dutch people find that unclear. 65 percent want mouth masks to be made compulsory indoors, 42 percent would prefer to see that done outside as well.
The people who already wear a mouth mask (41 percent always, usually or sometimes) do it most in the supermarket. This will be followed by other shops and public transport, where mouth cloths are already mandatory, because a 1.5 meter distance is not or hardly possible there. Women do it more often than men and it happens the most in the big cities.
