2K has released a PlayStation 5 trailer and 4k screenshots of basketball game NBA 2K21. According to the publisher, the video shows what players can expect from the next-gen consoles.
2K also shows a comparison with last year’s NBA 2K20 in a screenshot. The new game shows players more realistically and with more detail. This can be seen in small details such as the hair, reflections and the appearance of sweat drops.
According to the publisher, the next-gen version of NBA 2K21 is not only a graphical progression, but also has new physics and the way players move has been rebuilt. In addition, the arena is filled with 150 unique AI-controlled characters during matches. The publisher will provide more details on new gameplay features for the game later this week.
What NBA 2K21 will look like on current-generation consoles is not yet clear. 2K has not shown any images of this. 2K is one of the publishers that charges more for games for next-gen consoles than for the same game for the current generation. NBA 2K21 can be pre-ordered for 75 euros for the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. The version for the PS4 and Xbox One costs 70 euros. The game will be available at the time of next-gen consoles release.
