From October 8 to 10, the annual exhibition “Agricultural and Forest Machinery 2020” will take place in the exhibition complex “Rāmava” in Ķekava region. The exhibition is organized by SIA “AML” in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia. The opening of the exhibition will take place on October 8 at 11.00, and the exhibition will be opened by the Minister of Agriculture Kaspars Gerhards.

“Every autumn, professionals and interested people in the fields of agriculture, forestry, infrastructure improvement and rural construction meet in Rāmava to evaluate technical and technological innovations, choose solutions that meet their needs, and find new ideas for business growth,” says Laura Lūse, the exhibition manager. During the three days of the exhibition, 250 exhibitors will be able to meet in one place – industry experts who will share knowledge and experience, introduce industry news and current events, help to find the most suitable solution for the needs of the company or farm.
As usual, an educational program with the main theme “Agriculture and Forestry – Future Perspectives” will also take place within the framework of the exhibition, informing those interested about the most current issues in the agricultural and forestry sectors, L.Lūse informs. It includes questions about the financing of the new European Union programming period, the opportunities for greener farming, as well as current forestry trends and economic trends. New this time – seminars and presentations will be filmed, and after the exhibition, everyone will have the opportunity to watch a video at a convenient time both on the website www.aml-ramava.lv and on social networks.
This autumn, visitors will be greeted by a number of colorful surprises for three days – various interesting and interactive news from the exhibitors, competitions of professionals in their field (arborists, lumberjacks, forest machine operators and young roofers and demonstrations of technical skills in real field). Visitors will also have the opportunity to appreciate the performance of rabbit breeders, autumn, exposition of apples, pears, tomatoes and other vegetables and the work of breeders. This year, there is a particularly wide offer in the section of the exhibition dedicated to transport – commercial vehicles, cars, quadricycles for work and leisure, transport accessories and service.
