The Masked Singer is a true cabinet of curiosities. From a dancing Lama to a gigantic Neptune, nothing is too crazy on stage. It therefore takes quite a few hours to make the suits. Costume workshop Coupe de Théâtre offers a unique insight into the process of making Neptunus’ suit on Facebook.
The company explains that the ideas for this suit come from all over the company: a fine example of teamwork. For example, Neptune’s trident turns out to have been quite a job. The makers also share the first sketches of the suit, and the end result looks exactly like it.

Earlier, the same studio also made the suit for the Firebird, in which Willeke Alberti turned out to be. ‘How we enjoyed this to be able to make this costume,’ they wrote.
