The decision to dismiss the commission was taken after the news of the positive Covid-19 of the deputy and former Minister of Health, Beatrice Lorenzin.
Lorenzin confirms: I’m positive

Covid, Undersecretary Merlo is also positive
In the morning the news of the positivity also emerged Riccardo Merlo, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs. “In these hours, two parliamentarians tested positive for Covid and I wish them a speedy recovery. I thank the College of Quaestors and the offices of the Chamber which, in collaboration with the health authority, are working to trace the contacts and therefore to implement the envisaged protocols.
