Asturias registers another coronavirus outbreak in a group of students who traveled to Malaga | Radio Asturias

Asturias registers a new coronavirus outbreak among a group of 12 students who traveled to Malaga. In principle, there are 4 positives from this new outbreak, although the number could increase because they have not yet all been subjected to PCR, since some are waiting for the result and not all have yet arrived in the Principality.

Of the 4 confirmed, one was notified yesterday and the other 3 today, hence there is already talk of an outbreak.

Among them there would be some belonging to Area IV, with head in Oviedo, but also from others. It is not possible, at the moment, to specify more since this new focus is still being investigated.

Regarding the outbreak detected in a La Corredoria brewery, in Oviedo, there are no more positives than the 6 already confirmed yesterday, although PCR tests are still being done: more than 700 have already been done.

To date, there are 41 people under surveillance and isolated in Asturias for being confirmed cases of COVID 19 and more than 100 in quarantine for being suspected cases.

The Principality has expanded to 46 health professionals in charge of investigating the contacts of the infected. There are 9 more than there were so far.

Also today, one more deceased by coronavirus has been reported, a 58-year-old man who had been admitted to the ICU since March.

However, the data on the coronavirus in Asturias are as follows: a total of 2,470 infections and 340 deaths are counted.

CUTS IN HOSPITALITY AND NIGHT LEISURE

In addition, the General Director of Care, Humanization and Social Health Care, Sergio Valles, announced new measures that will limit the activity of hotel, restaurant and nightlife venues, given the finding that they pose a risk, as has already been found in other autonomous communities where most of the outbreaks are related to these establishments .
