The Ministry of Health asks the autonomous communities to standardize the control measures applied to stop the cases of covid-19. According to a provisional draft to which El Periódico de Catalunya has had access, Minister Salvador Illa has put on the table eleven measures, three recommendations and an indication for the autonomies.
Among the measures, the closure of discos, dance halls and cocktail bars with and without live musical performances stands out. It is also proposed to ban “smoking on public roads or in outdoor spaces when a minimum interpersonal distance of at least 1.5 meters cannot be respected.”

It will be the second time, this week, that Minister Illa meets with the regional representatives, since it already convened a plenary session this past Wednesday to address the outbreaks of Covid.
The Ministry of Health reported 2,935 new cases of Covid-1 this Thursday9, a considerable advance compared to 1,690 this Wednesday. In addition, the number of positives has been updated since the start of the pandemic, which stands at 337,334, almost 8,000 more than this Wednesday (329,784). In the last two weeks, 13,529 positives have been diagnosed, 4,113 in the past seven days.
Of the 2,935 new diagnoses, 217 have occurred in Andalusia, 418 in Aragon, 29 in Asturias, 38 in the Balearic Islands, 99 in the Canary Islands, 45 in Cantabria, 41 in Castilla-La Mancha, 75 in Castilla y León, 164 in Catalonia, one in Ceuta, 76 in the Valencian Community, 58 in Extremadura, 107 in Galicia, 842 in Madrid, two in Melilla, 53 in Murcia, 83 in Navarra, 545 in the Basque Country and 42 in La Rioja.
