Ford will retire most powerful naturally aspirated Mustang – Motor

“Track” Mustang Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT350R are equipped with a 5.2-liter 533-horsepower (580 Nm) V8 engine in combination with no alternative 6-speed “mechanics”. The naturally aspirated Voodoo V8 is known for its high-revving character – it can be spun up to 8250 rpm.

The “three hundred and fifties” versions are the most powerful “aspirated” in the lineup, because the “regular” Mustang GT with a V8 5.0 Coyote engine produces 466 horsepower, and on the special version of Mach 1 the same unit is boosted to 482 horsepower.
