Earlier, the doctor of US President Donald Trump said Friday evening that the president is receiving treatment with remdesivir and is currently resting after being admitted to hospital following his diagnosis of coronavirus.
“Tonight, I am delighted to report that the president is in very good health,” Sean Conley said in a statement issued by the White House.
He declared, “He does not need any additional oxygen, but in consultation with specialists, we have chosen to start treatment with Remdesivir. He has completed his first dose and is currently resting.”
In a tweet, Trump said, “Things are going well … I think! Thank you everyone. With my love !!!”
