So far, the highest cumulative rate of Covid-19 incidence per 100,000 population in Latvia in the last two weeks was observed on April 6, when it was 20.52 cases.
ECDC data on Saturday show that the 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population in Latvia is 23.3. Previously, the highest level in Latvia was reached on April 6, when it was 20.5.
During the last 14 days, 504 new infections have been detected in Latvia, according to the data of the Latvian Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC).
Meanwhile, in Lithuania, the ECDC estimates that the 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population on Saturday reached 49.8, while in Estonia – 52.3.
It has already been reported that in the last day, performing a total of 3654 Covid-19 tests, 74 new cases of Covid-19 infection were detected in Latvia, according to the data compiled by the SPKC.
In Latvia, infection with Covid-19 has so far been laboratory confirmed in 2019 persons.
To date, 332,285 Covid-19 examinations have been performed in Latvia. Of all cases in which laboratory infection with Covid-19 was confirmed, 1,307 had recovered and 38 had died.
