The demand continues to grow. Faced with the resurgence of the coronavirus epidemic, the queues in front of the Covid-19 multiply. To meet the demand, the municipality of Gagny (Seine-Saint-Denis) opened, Thursday 1is October 2020, a permanent screening center.
Without an appointment
“The health crisis is progressing even if for the moment we are not in a catastrophic state. But we don’t know how that will evolve, ”explains Doctor Philippe Grunberg, who represents healthcare professionals in the city of Gagny.
The screening center is located in front of the Arena and open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The tests are carried out without an appointment, for anyone with a prescription or a prescription from the Regional Health Agency (ARS). “Priority is given to nursing staff and contact persons”, adds the municipality.
A quick result
The center is equipped with two terminals, which allow patients to enter their administrative data themselves. “The objective is to obtain very fast results. The government doctrine only works if we can have results within 24 hours to know we are affected and to avoid transmitting the disease, ”says Dr. Philippe Grunberg.
The PCR-type tests will be performed by nurses recruited by the city.
