Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko reminded that the ideas conveyed by the Coalition for Action to Save Indonesia (US) should not disturb political stability.

Cash alone, Moeldoko’s statement was immediately greeted by Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Tengku Zulkarnain. He reminded the content of Article 28 of the 1945 Constitution that freedom of association and assembly, expressing thoughts orally and in writing and so on are stipulated by law.
“If you gather, express your opinion and criticize it, Article 28 of the 1945 Constitution is guaranteed. If Article 28 is considered to be potentially disturbing, then just pull it out. Let it be like North Korea. Dare to withdraw …?” he said.
Previously, Moeldoko also considered that the US movement was a form of a group of interests.
“They are just a group of interests, go ahead, no one prohibits them. If the idea is good, we take it. But if the direction imposes an interest, there will be calculations,” said Moeldoko in an interview note reflecting Pancasila Power Day, Thursday (1/10) .
