Several employees in the lung department of the Gelre hospital in Apeldoorn have become infected with the corona virus. They are in quarantine at home. It concerns three lung nurses, three pulmonologists and one physician assistant.
There was an immediate source and contact investigation and patients who have been in contact with these employees receive a letter at home.
The hospital says that patients and visitors can enter safely despite the outbreak. The treatments in the lung department also continue as usual.
