Afterwards, together with colleague Jan Van Rompaey, he presented “Magesien”, the first satirical program of the public broadcaster. From 1974 to 1989 he was one of the permanent employees of “Terloops”, another human interest program.
Janssen ended his career as producer-editor of a series of programs on “The Zoo” in the context of “Life as it is”. He retired in 2008. Jan Van Rompaey calls him an “erudite man who has had a great career”. “He was very good with people which made him perfect for programs like Echo and Cascade”.
