Man (23) arrested after Gordon | Inland

The arrest is more than four days after the Talpa entertainer was brutally robbed in his apartment in Amsterdam South on Sunday night. Gordon was gagged, beaten, kicked and humiliated, he told De Telegraaf.

Among other things, an expensive Rolex was stolen during the robbery. Gordon was said to have been tied up for two hours and could only be free after the two robbers had left. In a panic, he fled into the street in an undressed state, where he was received by security guards from a museum.

Signalement and camera image

The police immediately started a major investigation, partly on the basis of identifications and camera images provided by Gordon. The investigations thus led to a first arrest on Thursday afternoon. The police only want to confirm the arrest, but further refrains from commenting due to investigative interests.

However, the investigation has revealed that the robbery is separate from the activities of the so-called Rolex gang, which previously attacked Estelle Cruyff and Nicolette van Dam’s father, among others. The police do not want to say whether the loot or parts thereof have been found.

Grateful

Gordon says in an initial response that he is very grateful and says that the police have done ‘an amazing job’. “Very glad they took such a bold approach,” said a relieved Gordon, who has entered therapy to process the traumatic experiences.

Police said in a written statement: “Immediately after the actual robbery last Sunday, the detectives started an investigation. This involved both tactical and technical research. At some point, the detectives were able to find out the identity of one of the suspects. They managed to track down and keep them today. The investigation that is being supervised by a public prosecutor from the Amsterdam Public Prosecutor’s Office is still in full swing. More information is not provided at this time. ”
