Atalanta leaves no stone unturned for Lazio: Hateboer makes a great impression

Atalanta Bergamo has an excellent start in the A league. The team of trainer Gian Piero Gasperini has also won the second game. On a visit to Lazio it won with large numbers: 1-4.

The matches between Atalanta and Lazio have been a guarantee for spectacle in recent years and this time too there was plenty to see in the Stadio Olimpico. After ten minutes of play, the first goal was already a fact: Robin Gosens appeared in front of Lazio’s goal and tapped a cross from Hans Hateboer well within for the 0-1.

Both teams were fiercely on it and referee Fabio Maresca needed several yellow cards to keep the players under control. After half an hour of play, the roles between Gosens and Hateboer were reversed. This time Gosens gave the cross and it was Hateboer who scored the 0-2 with a beautiful volley.

Even before half-time, Atalanta took a 0-3 lead. Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gómez was allowed to walk through the defense of Lazio and managed to hit the far corner.

Lazio thought to come back into the game after the break because of a ticker Felipe Caicedo, but four minutes after this goal, Gómez decided the game with a wonderful line in the cross of the Lazio goal: 1-4.

Gasperini allowed Sam Lammers to play for another ten minutes, but could no longer cause danger in the half of Lazio. Atalanta comes through the victory on six points from two games in the Serie A and thus happily continues where it left off last season.
