How the first assignments work
The CINECA (Italian university consortium) is in charge, on behalf of the MUR, to elaborate the test results and then publish the national ranking on the AccessoProgrammato website containing the first assignments. This first step provides that i candidates with higher scores are assigned to the immediately available location, usually coinciding with their first preference. Difference between assigned and booked
To enter the national ranking it is necessary to obtain a score higher than 20 points. Alongside the name of the individual candidate, the ranking also includes the words “assigned” or “booked”. If the result is “assigned”Means that a place has been obtained in the “First useful preference”, that is, in the first preference in which there is an available place among those indicated, then you have 4 days for enrollment at the location and degree course to which it was assigned; if the enrollment does not take place within 4 days, the place will be definitively lost. This occurs because other candidates in the ranking have already been assigned to the highest choices, the Ministry does not yet know a precise number of who will proceed with the enrollment in those locations: if any of them renounce, in fact, there would be scrolling in the ranking. and reservations may earn a seat in a higher preference.
