The Netherlands tightens up advice: Belgium gets code orange

Dutch people who want to travel to our country are advised to only do so if it is really ‘necessary’. Previously, this advice only applied to Antwerp and Brussels.

Dutch people returning from Belgium are advised to go into home quarantine for ten days. According to the Netherlands, the entire Belgian territory is colored orange.

The Netherlands responds with that, according to the Dutch broadcaster WE, on the recent change in the travel advice that Belgium issued for the provinces of South Holland, North Holland and Utrecht. From now on, our country will label these regions as a red zone.

Just like Belgium (and the other neighboring countries), the Netherlands is also currently struggling with rapidly increasing figures. There will almost certainly be intertwining. Catering establishments should close at 10 pm.
