PALERMO. At the start in Sicily the Special Health Communication Office. A decree of the commissioner provides for it Ruggero Razza, which in turn refers to a previous resolution of the regional council.
Established at the same department, it has an expected duration of three years and will be equipped with 11 components: 1 Top Manager, 1 OU Manager, 4 Management Officers, 3 Management Instructors, 1 Collaborator and 1 Operator.
It will guide him Daniela Secret (in the picture), third-tier executive of the regional administration, chosen as manager “due to the high cultural and professional profile possessed”.
HERE ARE THE DUTIES OF THE SPECIAL OFFICE:
– Coordination functions of the communication offices of the companies of the regional health system, with a view to rational use of the resources referred to in the relevant PSN intervention line;
– Coordination, planning and development functions of institutional communication and information activities, in compliance with the provisions contained in Law 150/2000, aimed at promoting health and strengthening the network of skills with other actors for the development of central and territorial communication and information strategies on all segments of health communication;
– Processing of the annual communication plan;
– Relations with the media in relation to the communication activity;
– Coordination activities the editorial management of the portal Building health;
– Cooperation with the “Coordination Committee for Institutional Information and Communication” of the Region at the Presidency, with the Communication Staff of the President and with the Departments of the Department, on the subject of promotion and culture of communication in the health sector;
– Impulse and planning actions editorial production, publications, events, conferences and congresses on health matters, in close relationship with the competent departmental structures;
– Communication activities in an emergency health situation: Risk Communication;
– “Social market research” activities
– Relations with the relevant offices the Ministry of Health, with the European Union, with the World Health Organization and other institutions in the sector, including extra-regional ones;
– Relations with the Sicily CoRe.Com;
– Coordination the participation of the Department in the activities of international organizations and international meetings on health matters;
– Finding financial resources, including non-regional ones, on communication, also through participation in European tenders and calls for action.
– Related activities to the general affairs and functioning of the Office.
