In May 2018, Aaron already found 15 water bottles with BP motor oil on the beach. The bottles bear the year 1966, the year in which they were manufactured. This time it turns out to be exactly the same bottles, but exponentially much more.
“A container with motor oil probably ended up in the sea some 54 years ago, because in 1967 the same bottles washed up on the beach of the Dutch island of Texel. Then the motor oil was even sold again to car dealers. These bottles were also found on beaches in the Netherlands in 1980, 2014, 2016 and 2017. But what I’ve seen now surpasses all the previous finds, ”Aaron knows.
