The Resident Evil franchise will get a Netflix series with the name in 2021 Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. Capcom announced this during Capcom TGS Live 2020.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is a CGI series in which Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield explore a mansion together. In good old Resident Evil tradition, numerous monsters try to take them out.

Although Capcom does not reveal much, the Portuguese branch of Netflix has already leaked a first trailer. In it you see how Claire Redfield explores the house and after a while runs into Leon S. Kennedy. Although the trailer has since been taken offline again, a few fans got their hands on the images.
