PYONGYANG, KOMPAS.com – North Korea raised a warning, after South Korea ( Carousel) cross their waters to find an office killed and burned.
According to local news agencies, Pyongyang said it would begin their own search and warned the Southern operation would raise tensions.
The office of the South Korean fisheries department was shot dead by North Korean soldiers on Tuesday (22/9/2020), where the officer allegedly tried to defect.

The incident was North Korea’s first murder of a South Korean citizen in 10 years, and made Kim Jong Un make an apology.
Seoul accuses North Korean soldiers of dousing petrol, with the bodies of their officials set on fire after being killed, it was reported AFP Sunday (27/9/2020).
News agency KCNA citing North Korean officials as saying the incident that took place in the waters was “so horrific it shouldn’t have happened”.
Pyongyang later emphasized that they would immediately form their own search team to assist South Korea in finding the body.
The anonymous official explained that if the body was found, they would immediately arrange for procedures to return to South Korea.
Because of that, the official then emphasized that “Ginseng Country” should not try to cross their teriroi to find the corpse.
“We never want our territory to be invaded, and we are very serious about warning this. If it is violated, it could lead to other serious incidents,” the official threatened.
On Saturday (26/9/2020), Seoul called on his “brother” to investigate the culprit, and be ready to join if asked.
Meanwhile, North Korea responded through Kim Jong Un’s apology. A rare moment where the relationship between the two Koreas is being strained.
The reason is that the denuclearization efforts carried out by the North, South, and the United States (US) have reached a dead end.
