In a press release on Sunday night, the West police district writes that a dead woman was found in Åsane late Saturday night.
It was Bergens Tidende who first reported the death.
In the press release, operations manager Knut Dahl-Michelsen states that they moved out at 23.30 on Saturday night, on the basis of a report of concern. A young man and a young woman were found at the scene. Both are in their 20s.
– The woman was declared dead on the spot, the operations manager writes in the press release.
According to the police, the man on the spot was conscious, but needed health supervision. The person in question has been transported to hospital.
– The police at the present time can not say anything about the cause of death and the death appears suspicious, the police say.
The woman’s relatives have been notified. The police inform TV 2 that they do not want to go out with further information at the moment.
