Moj and his mother Maryam are still upset about the incident that took place on Wednesday. Their dog Luna was grabbed by the man after an altercation, they tell Hart van Nederland. “Our neighbor walked in a straight line to Luna, lifted her above his head, and then threw her to the ground.” That would have happened after a collision in the street, in which the man came cycling fast and Luna reacted with a bark.
The 5-year-old Luna, an American Eski, was taken to a vet and operated there for hours. “Her leg has been broken in three places, her ribs are bruised and she received a massive wound,” Moj said. The neighbor later apologized. “But I cannot accept that. I cannot have a conversation with someone who does something to such a small defenseless animal. ”
